After coming back from a long hiatus I see that there are a lot of stuff I left unfinished. With classes being over for this semester I plan on getting back on track.
First off, 40k... wow a new edition is coming out and the rulebook is going to be free? Count me in! I get to dust off my Space Marines, paint 'em, and finally get to use them again. I also see new stuff about kill teams and I'm going to take a closer look. It would probably better for my sanity to start small and not tackle hundreds of miniatures at once.
Age of sigmar/Fantasy-wise, I have not found a ruleset that piqued my interest so my Bretonnians/Kingdom of Men will stay in the back burner.
Infinity will also be in the back burner.
Warmachine-wise, its still going strong in my local hobby store. I plan on continuing my Retribution faction and maybe expand it but my Menoth forces will be put in the back burner.
Historicals... I still need to paint my 28mm germans, at least I found a spray paint that matches 'german field gray' which should make it easier to process miniatures.
On top of that I expanded to 15mm as well (Flames of War)... Germans too, so the spray paint would at least be used. I intend on experimenting with the magic wash method, I bought Minwax Polyshades antique walnut(floor wax) to try and get the same results as army painter.
Will test that out on the 15mm's first though.
